Transferable Constant-Size Fair E-Cash

چکیده
We propose an efficient blind certification protocol with interesting properties. It falls in the Groth-Sahai framework for witness-indistinguishable proofs, thus extended to a certified signature it immediately yields non-frameable group signatures. We use blind certification to build an efficient (offline) e-cash system that guarantees user anonymity and transferability of coins without increasing their size. As required for fair e-cash, in case of fraud, anonymity can be revoked by an authority, which is also crucial to deter from double spending.

Optimally Anonymous and Transferable Conditional E-cash
Transferable conditional electronic-cash (e-cash) allows a payer to spend an e-cash based on the outcome not known in advance. It also allows a payee to spend the e-cash to others, or deposit the e-cash to a bank based on the future outcome. Among security properties, the anonymity of the payer has been widely studied. However, the payer is linkable in the existing conditional e-cash schemes. T...
متن کاملImprovement of Efficiency in (Unconditional) Anonymous Transferable E-Cash
The practical advantage expected from transferable e-cash compare to non-transferable is the significant reduction of the interaction number between the bank and the users. However, this property is not fulfilled by anonymous transferable e-cash schemes of the state-of-the art. In this paper, we first present a transferable e-cash scheme with a reduced number of communications between the bank ...
متن کاملAnonymous Transferable E-Cash
Cryptographic e-cash allows off-line electronic transactions between a bank, users and merchants in a secure and anonymous fashion. A plethora of e-cash constructions has been proposed in the literature; however, these traditional e-cash schemes only allow coins to be transferred once between users and merchants. Ideally, we would like users to be able to transfer coins between each other multi...

The research on off-line electronic cash(e-cash) schemes has drawn much attention since Chaum etc [8] presented the first off-line anonymous electronic cash scheme in 1988. However, anonymous electronic cash schemes also facilitate fraud and criminal activities [32], such as money laundering, blackmailing and illegal purchases. Frankel etc [13]. first introduces the concept of fair electronic c...

Electronic cash (e-cash) refers to money exchanged electronically. The main features of traditional cash are usually considered desirable also in the context of e-cash. One such property is off-line transferability, meaning the recipient of a coin in a transaction can transfer it in a later payment transaction to a third person without contacting a central authority. Among security properties, ...
